EXCITECH: About Our Edgebander

1. Good Edge Banding Quality

Our EF480 edgebander uses CNC horizontal trimming technology. Controlled by CNC systems, our edgeband machine won’t scratch, damage or hit panels during trimming, which helps improve edge banding consistency. EF480 edgeband machine high-precision integrated machine bed is produced with CNC processes, supporting “one-cut forming” with an overall precision of ±0.2mm. This keeps edges smooth and accurate even when used for a long time.

EF480 edgebander works well with high-end panels like high-gloss doors and skin-feel doors too. We optimized the edge banding process to reduce glue lines—there’s almost no visible glue residue, which meets the appearance needs of custom furniture.

3. Complete Functions

Our EF480 has all the functions needed for edge banding in one machine, so no extra equipment is required. It can do pre-milling, gluing, edge attaching, front/back trimming, rough trimming, fine trimming, profiling trimming, scraping and polishing.

4. Easy to Operate

We equipped the EF480 with a touchscreen control panel. There are no complicated button combinations—operators can set up custom work programs quickly and accurately. Even new operators can learn to use EF480 edgebander in a short time, which reduces training time and avoids mistakes from complex operations.

5. Adaptable to Different Processes

Our EF480 can be used in different production scenarios. For orders with both dark and light-colored panels, EF480 edgebander central control system can switch glue pots automatically based on edge band color—no manual adjustment needed. EF480 edgebander also supports independent tracking for long edges: the central control system switches tracking functions according to panel information, which is convenient for custom furniture production with different specifications.

6. Stable Structure

We used a U-shaped integrated machine bed for the EF480. This structure is rigid, so the machine won’t deform even after continuous long-hour operation. U-shaped integrated machine bed maintains consistent precision and stable performance over time, which means less maintenance work and longer service life.
