EXCITECH completed intelligent robot edge banding production project in Spain. 2 edge banders with robotic loading/unloading and rotary conveyor realize fully automatic double-side edge banding for panel furniture.

Production Workflow

The first robot picks raw panels and places them on the rotary conveyor line. Panels are delivered to the first edge bander for single-side edge banding. After completion, panels circulate along the rotary line and enter the second edge bander for edge processing on the opposite side. Once double-side edge banding is finished, the second robot automatically unloads and stacks the finished panels.
